You left your First Love
One of my favorite places to turn to in the Scriptures is the book of Revelation. I enjoy looking at what God has to say about the churches. I believe, that we can always get something special from them. Especially when we ask the questions like what is God saying to me and how can I apply it? When you and I practice this, scripture seems to come alive. This is something Pastor Burt taught me a long time ago.
So with that lets turn to Rev. 2:1-7 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; these things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in is right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou has tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and has found them liars: and Hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast labored, and hast not fainted.
